NEW WEBSITE LAUNCH – Rebranding the AALJP
Brussels, 18 July 2012 – The Ambient Assisted Living Joint Programme (AAL JP) today launched its new official website to the public. The portal, with its simple and fresh layout, is the next phase of the AAL JP public outreach. It is a critical tool to help the AAL JP capitalise on the growing importance of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) for ageing well.
The website has been designed to communicate to relevant wide variety of stakeholders and it focuses on the projects that have already been funded along with the future funding opportunities offered by this programme.
Together with this website, the AAL JP is also publishing its new Google+ page, so that interested parties can become more connected to our activities, read our latest initiatives, and see pictures. The Linked In, as well as the You Tube page, have also been refreshed to engage the continuosly growing AAL community in Europe.
Mike Biddle, President of the AAL Association, said in a statement that “this new website will provide useful tools and information for end-users, businesses, researchers and policy makers about the activities of the AAL JP“. And he continued, “The portal will also provide information on the funding opportunities offered by the programme, and will offer the chance to highlight the outcomes of the projects already in place“.
