Entering a new phase
Brussels, 26 May 2015 – We have been working on it for some months and now we can proudly announce the release of our revamped website.
After the start of the second phase of our programme and the change in our naming, we felt the need to modernize our visual identity and modify our main gateway to the public. For that reason, some months ago we began an internal rethinking of our portal to be even more responsive to the needs and desires of our public and to support even more our projects in their quest to reach the commercial phase and satisfy e end-users necessities.
This new AAL website has a more dynamic look and feel and some new sections in the front-page, which we hope you will enjoy. Four new direct accesses were created to ease the understanding of the programme: one to link directly to one of our main support services, the AAL2Business, which facilitates projects to go to market; one offering a direct entry point to the market observatory; one pointing to the interoperability and standards section; and finally one offering an overview on our guidelines to better involve the end users.
From a purely graphic perspective, triangles are our new reference. The main idea behind was to create a direct connection with our logo, with the ‘A‘ and use this elemt to express some of the core aspects of our programme. The triangle establishes three major notions: that of ‘construction’, which we aim to achieve by financing our projects: that of stability, which we seek by supporting long-term plans: and that of modernity, which is incapsulated in the innovative aspects of each of ourprojects.
