Final evaluation of the AAL Joint Programme
This Final Evaluation of the Ambient Assisted Living Joint Programme was undertaken by a high-level panel of experts, appointed by the European Commission, DG Communications Networks, Content and Technology and chaired by former European Commissioner Philippe Busquin. The Final Evaluation addresses the six-year operation of the Programme, from 2008-2013. In line with the Panel’s remit, it assesses:
- The progress towards the Programme’s objectives and the recommendations from the Interim Evaluation;
- The progress towards the Programme’s operational excellence and the effectiveness of the Article 185 approach in this domain.
- In addition, it makes recommendations for the possible follow-up to the AAL JP within Horizon 2020.
