AAL Director to participate in Ministerial conference on dependency in EU
AAL Director Mr. Klaus Niederlander will participate in a conference on Enhancing Cooperation to Prevent Loss of Autonomy Caused by Falls organised by the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The conference will take place on 27 January starting at 9:15 CET.
This conference will bring together the EU ministers responsible for ageing and the autonomy of elderly persons, as well as actors from civil society and the healthcare and support services sector. Participants will discuss means of action to prevent the loss of autonomy of elderly persons, in particular to better understand and combat the prevalence of falls, and their causes and consequences.
