Innovative tools to engage older adults in managing their health
A workshop aimed at inspiring digital transformation in organisations will be taking place in Brussels on April 11th 2024, and registrations are now open.
Knowledge about the benefits of digital health services exists, but what is the best way to use this knowledge to successfully bring about digital transformation in healthcare, while ensuring that those with low digital competencies are not excluded?
At an upcoming workshop, titled “Innovative tools to engage older adults in managing their health”, organisations and policymakers in the healthcare sector are invited to discuss how we can transform healthcare services using technology.
During the workshop, knowledge from the EU project ‘SMILE’ on ‘Smart Inclusive Living Environments’ for older people with severe health conditions will be shared. The Epital Care Model (ECM) and the Readiness and Enablement Index for Health Technology (READHY) instrument will also be presented, and discussions will be had on how these can inform organisations.
The workshop aims to inspire participants to engage in organisational transformations, as well as providing an opportunity for networking.
Workshop outcomes
- Understand how the ECM model can help local and regional planning of healthcare services, with a focus on cross-sectoral collaboration and interdisciplinary work.
- Understand how READHY can be used for stratification of users to reduce inequity in digital transformation.
