AAL launches its third Call for Workshops
The AAL Programme is delighted to announce its third Call for Workshop Proposals, inviting all current and former AAL partners to participate in shaping the future of active and assisted living through knowledge-sharing and collaboration. The deadline for submission of workshop proposals is January 31, 2025, at 17:00 CEST.
This ongoing and dynamic initiative aims to foster the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and experiences within and beyond the AAL community. By organising a workshop, you have the opportunity to:
- Contribute to meaningful discussions on key AAL topics.
- Connect with a diverse audience of stakeholders.
- Address pressing challenges and explore innovative solutions in active and assisted living.
As always, the choice of topic is open for this call, but the AAL Programme encourages proposals that align with the concept of Ecosystems, following the focus of recent AAL calls. Additional areas of interest include:
- Accessing private and public markets.
- Implementing digital solutions within organisations.
- Financing start-ups and scale-ups.
- Value assessment and reimbursement of digital care solutions.
- Ethical considerations in the development and use of digital care solutions.
- Certification processes for digital solutions.

- Budget support: The AAL Programme offers financial assistance for expenses such as catering, technical needs, venues, and workshop moderators. Applicants should include a detailed budget in their proposal, specifying the requested contribution from the AAL Programme and its intended purpose.
- Eligibility: The Call is open to:
- Current and former AAL project partners.
- Partners may hire external experts to facilitate the workshop, but should retain organisational leadership.
