AAL announces the election of a new Vice President of the Executive Board
AAL is happy to announce the nomination of a new member to its Executive Board, Mrs Geja Langerveld.
Mrs Langerveld was officially appointed Vice President at the last meeting of the General Assembly of the AAL Association on November 26th, 2024, during which Mrs Gerda Geyer and Mr Alain Thielemans were also re-elected in their respective roles as President and Treasurer.
With many years of experience in the world of healthy ageing and innovation, Mrs Langerveld has played an important and active part in the AAL Programme since the very beginning, mainly through her role as National Contact Person for the Dutch funding agency ZonMw. Now as Vice President, she will continue to share her knowledge, dynamism and professional personality with AAL.
Mrs Langerveld is taking over in the role from Mr Rik Wisselink, who has been acting as Vice President and Vice Treasurer for the past few years and has done a fantastic job in helping the Programme reach its goals. With the succession now tightly secured, we would like to thank Mr Wisselink for his great contribution to the AAL Programme and wish him all the best for the future.
